Bulk Negotiations
Instead of helping one account at a time, we negotiate directly with utility companies for group payoffs. This stretches every contribution further — reducing balances and turning multiple households back on at once.
We work directly with utility companies to negotiate bulk payoff agreements — restoring power, water, and heat for entire neighborhoods at once.
The Foundation is currently in the process of obtaining 501(c)(3) nonprofit status.

We don’t ask people to apply or compete for help. We work with providers to identify past-due and shutoff accounts, starting with the most urgent cases, and bring them current together.
By removing paperwork and bias, help goes where it’s needed most — based on data, not decisions. Everyone deserves light, water, and warmth.

Keep It On Utility Foundation partners with utility providers to arrange bulk payoffs that clear multiple delinquent accounts at once, minimizing cost and delay.
We believe lasting change begins with simple, direct acts of compassion — and collective problem-solving. By working directly with utility companies, we negotiate group payoffs that stretch every contribution further, restoring stability for as many households as possible, as quickly as possible.
We are currently working toward full 501(c)(3) recognition to expand partnerships, fundraising, and community programs. Every negotiation is transparent, verifiable, and aimed at restoring stability for multiple households.
Every contribution to the Keep It On Utility Foundation becomes part of a larger negotiation that helps multiple households regain essential services. A single act of giving can restore light for an entire block.
Online donations will be available once our 501(c)(3) status is finalized. Until then, please contact us directly to discuss partnerships or ways to contribute to upcoming utility negotiations.
Providing judgment-free relief from utility debt so people can keep their essential utilities
People deserve warmth. Light. Clean water. A chance to breathe between bills.
But across communities too many households are forced into impossible choices. Keep the lights on or buy groceries. Pay the gas bill or refill a prescription. Catch up on overdue utilities or fall behind on everything else.
The truth is simple: no one should have to live like that.
We started Keep It On Utility Foundation because basic needs aren't optional. They're the foundation of safety, health, family, and dignity. And right now, rising costs and stagnant wages are pulling that foundation out from under people who are working as hard as they can.
Families are slipping through cracks not because they've done something wrong, but because life has become too expensive to outrun. And when a shutoff notice arrives, it doesn't just threaten comfort, it threatens stability, health, and hope.
That's where we come in.
We choose a different path.
We don't ask households to prove their worth. We don't require personal stories or explanations. In fact, we never speak to households at all. Their privacy, their dignity, is protected by design. Requests come to us through trusted community partners and utility providers who verify need without exposing anyone's personal details.
That anonymity matters. It removes judgment. It removes bias. It ensures every decision is based on one simple truth: someone's lights are about to go out, and we can help turn them back on.
Our work is straightforward.
A verified household is at risk of shutoff or stuck in debt.
We eliminate the balance.
The lights stay on.
The water keeps running.
A family gets to exhale.
These are small interventions in the grand scheme of things but to a household in crisis, they are everything. A bit of breathing room. A sense of safety. A reminder that their community hasn't forgotten them.
We can't fix the entire system.
We can't stop inflation or rewrite wages.
But we can make sure a home stays warm tonight.
We can keep someone out of the endless cycle of utility catch-up.
We can make the burden a little lighter.
One household at a time, we're building a network of stability, compassion, and hope powered by people who believe everyone deserves the basics of a dignified life.
